Favorite Find: Aweigh Candle Company

My dear friend Lauren always knows how to take her skills and maximize them. Say hello to her new company, Aweigh Candle Company. They just celebrated their one year anniversary. It's time to celebrate and give her some serious recognition!

Aweigh candles are simple, classic, and smell divine. They don't have overly heavy scents that give you a headache, yet they fill a room with beautiful fragrance that last a good long time.

They are coconut/paraffin wax candles with a wood wick. The jars and labels are a classic look that fit into any home decor and her scents appeal to all types of people. Each scent has a unique name based on military as well as suggestions from her friends, families, and customers. She is open to ideas and suggestions and I love how her business has evolved so much in this past year.

Her scents can be in one of 6 categories, including fresh, floral, earthy, food, masculine, and my personal favorite, seasonal. Her fall and holiday scents are just phenomenal. My favorite is tipsy elf, mainly because you could be lucky enough to get a candle that's topped with glitter!

Each candle lasts more than 50 hours, is hand poured, and because it has a wood wick it has this subtle crackling sound to it too. The soft flicker as well as the soothing scents add a perfect mood to any room.

Lauren is seriously talented and I am so blessed to call her a friend. She does every single part of the business herself, from her marketing, social media presence, scent research and mixing, pouring, labeling, boxing, shipping, photography, the list goes on and on. AND she's a military wife AND a mom of three boys. Did I mention she's gorgeous too?!

I cannot encourage you enough to check them out and support not only a woman-owned small business, but also a military spouse run business as well!
