Dot Art

As a former teacher, I want nothing more than my child to enjoy anything educational. As a teacher who was going to specialize in art education, I want nothing more than my child to have a passion and love for art. Markers and crayons with a toddler honestly frighten me. I am scared and worried of the aftermath of him running wild through the house along walls, across cabinets, on windows, you name it. But for some reason these dot markers give me no fear. Well, make that little fear.

When the weather is bad and we have to stay inside and can't go anywhere, I pull out ALL the stops, including these beauties.

I like to draw something on the paper for Ness to fill in or use as a guide. We are getting to the stage where he knows his colors and can ask for specific colors and say what the colors are. It's awesome.

What do you like to do with your toddler to occupy time? What arts and crafts do they enjoy?
