Must Eat Monday: Conspiracy, Middletown

Whenever I go to Middletown, I have my regular places. The Emporium when I have my toddler in tow and we have hit up KidCity and Amato's Toy Store. Or Esca when I'm out my girlfriends.

But people, this hidden gem is just that, a HIDDEN gem! Say hello to Conspiracy in Middletown.

There's no signage outside to let you know where they're located and it's designed to be kind of a speakeasy place, you know, where the cool kids go. Surprisingly enough, I was able to get in. Does that mean I'm cool?! Maybe yes.

When you walk in, you can go right into the bar area or left into their sitting area. Pick you comfy cozy nook for you and your friends and enjoy the funky eclectic decor.

Should you go right and sit at the bar, enjoy the vintage-feel stools and an ample drink menu where your beverage comes in any variety of antique glassware.

Their mule was on point and was a bit too smooth going down. One of these was enough for me!

We enjoyed a nice selection of appetizers while our group had small talk and browsed around this fun new place. While it's not a sit-down formal restaurant, it's a great place to come with friends before or after dinner or even to hang out for a happy hour.

I do love a pop of color and all of their doors are just that- different pops of color.

Should you find your way to Middletown, make your way to Conspiracy, and hopefully, you find the door and make your way upstairs!
